DMT- The craziest chemical known to man

A hallucinogenic drug, a chemical produced naturally by our brains, and a gateway to the most powerful

trip known to man, DMT, or 4-hydroxyl dimethyltryptamine, is the strongest hallucinogen known to man. DMT is released in high quantities naturally in two states, during REM sleep, to induce dreaming, as well as right before we die (the brain pumps out massive levels of DMT as our final trip before we pass away for good.)

Use as a drug

DMT can be used orally, insufflated, smoked, or used by injection. Smoking produces the most profound effects, and is the only way in which our dream is actually remembered for long periods of time. Smoking also allows for the lowest dosage used, with the most potent effects.

During sleep, why some dreams are more powerful than others

While we sleep each night, as soon as we enter REM sleep, the chemical DMT is released by the pineal gland in our brain (literally your mind's eye or your "third eye"), and is released in different dosages each night, based on stress, anxiety, hours slept previously, level of health, and resting heart rate for that moment. The more these levels are increased, the more DMT is pumped out in the brain by the pineal gland, and the more profound the dreams effects are. However, whether or not our dream is actually remembered in the long run, depends not on how profound it was as a dream, but by what emotions it provoked (fear, lust etc.) and by what we do after the dream (think about it, write it down etc.)

Schedule I classification

DMT, although actually created naturally by the brain, and produced each and every night while we enter REM sleep, is classified as a Schedule I drug, meaning it has no medicinal benefits, and instead is only limited to scientific research. Because of its classification, it is among the most illegal of all drugs, and carries with it a harsh legal sentence.

DMT usage is said to "transport you to another dimension" and to give you a stronger religious grasp. Stories of the drug DMT have been linked to stronger bonds to the creator, a sense of "meeting" Jesus, or talking to a certain life energy force.
