My Top Ten Most Motivating Movies

Looking for some extra motivation?

Everybody needs a boost at one point or another, and sometimes movies can do just that! Check out my top ten motivating movies that give me that extra bit of drive to succeed whenever I watch them, who knows, it might even work for you too:)

10. As Good as it gets

The movie portrays a grouch who has to conform to societal norms in order to get out of his home and finally meet some people. He's not quite cheery to say the least by the end of the movie, but he changes in a way that's motivating to any human with a beating heart and a human mind. Recommended for emotional strength and for social gatherings motivation.

9. Inception

For keeping you motivated, and giving yourself some entertainment while you sleep, I highly recommend inception (plus you'll be wanting to get to sleep so you can start lucid dreaming like a maniac!)

8. The Social Network

The story of Mark Zuckerberg's rise to fame and fortune and how he created facebook and his billions of dollars. At least for me after watching this movie, it was extremely moving in that even the brightest of minds (Harvard Professors) were easily outclassed by someone who's natural genius overcame all obstacles.

7. Cinderella Man

During the great depression, a boxer realizes his only way to support his family in his poverty stricken state is by fighting his way to wealth. It's an extremely motivating film, and once it's done you'll be signing up at your nearest boxing gym:)

6. Rocky

Self Exclamatory:) I mean c'mon it's freaking Rocky!

5. Never Back Down
Almost like an MMA Karate Kid (that's another good one!). The story of Jake Tyler and his journey from getting destroyed in a fight, and embarassed in school, through his training in MMA and eventually defeating his arch rival. Highly moving if you're an athlete. Also, amazing fight scenes, Amber Heard. Go watch it.

4. Any of the Iron Man Movies

Iron Man just makes you want to go in your garage and build something crazy, or go out and rent a sports car so you can pick up the hottest chick in the club. The journey of Tony Stark from cocky, rick, womanizing badass, to more cocky, more womanizing, superhero badass, with a ton of moving moments in between. The song is also one of the most motivating part of the movie #OzzyOsbourne, and with its 3 movie series, you'll have a hard time not finding motivation through it.

3. House of Cards (Not actually a movie but......it's still insanely motivating, especially if you're interested in politics.)

An amazing political Drama about Frank Underwood's journey to becoming President of the United States. The first season is available on Netflix and although once you start its addicting (you'll be a bed ridden Netflix junkie for a few days) you come out of watching it a more motivated person who wants to run for POTUS.

2. The Pursuit of Happyness

Ahh a classic. The story of now 9 figure net worth Chris Gardner and his struggle from poverty to riches in the world of high finance. An insanely moving story starring Will and Jaden Smith. You'll wish you'd had a harsh moving experience in your life after watching it, and it will really make you appreciate just having a roof over your head, let alone your iPhone!

1. Limitless
And here we go. My opinion of THE MOST MOTIVATING MOVIE IN EXISTENCE. The type of movie you can watch a hundred times without it getting old. The film features Eddie Morra, a struggling writer who can't seem to muster up even one word of his book who suddenly finds a miracle drug that allows him to access all of his brain. He moves from writing to high finance, and then towards politics in this high action, heart racing thriller. I HIGHLY recommend it, because although at first it may seem like it is based on Adderall, in the end, when analyzed properly, the writer wants us to see that our brains our capable of great things without enhancements from a lab...hence in the end why the character was changed from dying to getting off the drug. "I'm off it Carl. I'm 50 moves ahead of you and everybody else."
