DREAMING!!!!
dream every single night during REM sleep, as our brains Pineal gland pumps out levels of DMT, consolidating memories for the day, and restoring itself for what lies ahead. Though some people can seemingly remember MOST of their dreams, others claim to never dream (ie: they don't remember their dreams). Here's the real reason we remember some dreams, while others drift away, never to be recollected again.
We're not really supposed to remember our dreams, dreams aren't really about anything
How to Remember your dreams
1. Meditate-Through meditation, you'll learn mindfulness, making your dreams more vivid, and giving you a greater sense of recall.
2. If you have a dream, immediately write it down, or say to yourself what happened out loud
3. Start a dream log-After a while, it'll become almost routine to remember your dreams.
4. Practice Lucid Dreaming
5. Try to feel emotionally connected to your dream- The more emotions the dream arouses, fear, anxiety, elation etc. The easier it will be to recall.
Final thoughts
Always remember though, remembering our dreams may not necessarily be a good thing. It is hard to remember our dreams for a good reason, it is our brains way of protecting us from a hallucination that occurs while we sleep, as not to distract us from what lies in reality. Have fun with your dreams, they are a movie our brain puts on to entertain us while we sleep, just remember, they are fiction and don't get to attached to them.
