Recover from addiction at home-Methamphetamine

Recovering from Methamphetamine

Aside from the hell you're about to go through if you're trying to withdrawal from Methamphetamine, I must add before I start that this post will be a tiny bit unconventional from the stereotypical Methamp recovery. I used this on myself to not only recover from amphetamines, but also to improve myself post recovery, and finally gain my mind back to the point of almost photographic memory. You too can do this...no bullshit here....just read the damn post and you'll see:)

FIRST THINGS FIRST

Depending on how long you've been using for, you're going to have to go through withdrawal (1-4 weeks) followed by PAWS, or Post Acute Withdawal Syndrome, a period of depression each week in which, although you've been clean for some time, your brain still doesn't feel quite right. (This can last from 90 days to two years, with the most common range being around six months.)

Getting Through Withdrawal

For three weeks, you're going to have to do absolutely nothing but eat and sleep. I actually reccomend in the beginning, if you're coming down, to take a few benzos or opiates to ease into the withdrawal...alcohol and marijuana can also help with this. Only use these in the beginning phase (first three days...except for maybe marijuana), as they too can be habit forming, and you don't want to just trade one addiction for another. Also, every single day, eat PLENTY of pizza, protein, fruits and vegetables. Also IMPORTANT: Each day for the first four weeks, supplement 5 grams of L-Tyrosine each morning,  and 300 milligrams of 5-htp each day before before you go to bed, this will greatly help your burnt out receptors, and is referred to in fancy rehabs as "neurotransmitter therapy" It works, and is the best, and fastest way to heal your burnt out and screaming receptors. Once you get through the first four weeks, your recovery/ enhancement process can begin.

Getting Through Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome

Drop the L-Tyrosine to only 1 gram a day, and the 5-htp to only 100mg a night before bed. Discontinue these supplements after six months. At this point (Day 31) You should be on a hefty exercise regiment. For men, if you're skinny, and still looking like slender man after your recovery, take up bodybuilding (Benefit of looking different than you were in recovery, and of actually adding more proteins to your body, as well as strengthening/healing the Central Nervous System.) For females, if you're too skinny, you too can take up bodybuilding. For those watching their figure however, a hybrid exercise program running/weight lifting with light-moderate weights, can do wonders for you in your recovery process, and can lead you down your road to enhancement.

At this stage as well, begin to supplement piracetam, a highly studied nootropic that has been around for decades, and is effective in not only reversing drug/alcohol induced brain damage, but also enhancing brain neurons, and allowing for more tedious mental tasks to be completed. You won't feel it at first, but its effects will become slightly noticeable after around 3 weeks of using 2400 milligrams a day.

At around day 100, begin a regimen similar to my homepage, meditate in the morning, play brain games such as those on lumosity.com, take up speed reading, try to learn a second language, and while using piracetam, add in phenylpiracetam, and adrafanil once a week (it will get you to start using your brain at a higher level.
Believe it or not, the more you use your brain, the more dopamine-the neurotransmitter that is depleted during withdrawal-your brain will produce, because it will need it to keep up with the intense schedule.) After six months of said program, you will feel immense clarity of thought, confidence, and strength of will power.

Also (I said my methods were unorthodox) once you've recovered from methamphetamine, and you realize that the hell you went through with the drug was nothing more than a bad life experience that you can't change, but rather have to learn to accept, you can almost use it to your advantage.....yes, you just read that.

After 2 years, you should be in such amazing shape both mentally and physically, that you will have such little will to actually go back to using, and instead will be hooked on the self-improvement mindset. So here goes...a little special effect of amphetamines that no one told you about...but that lingers with you forever, gaining back that feeling naturally. First, sit down, and remember what it was like the first time you did it, and actually feel what the sensation was like in your mind and in your eyes. Your focus will increase, and the memory of it will greatly add to your ability to focus. Give it a try next time you've got a test or are trying to learn something mentally strenous.

Final Thoughts

The future is bright...literally, no bs here, you can have a good life after addiction and you can fine tune your mind to a greater level. Recovery is possible, and through nootropics, exercise, and constantly challenging your brain and mind with challenging tasks, you can achieve total recovery both mentally and physically. So go on and give it a shot, you may even surprise yourself:)
