Meditation for Higher Energy

Meditation for motivation, energy, and greater mental stamina throughout the day
Close your eyes and put on your headphones, beginning meditation with the elevator trick just like in regular meditation (see earlier posts.) Once into a moderately deep state of meditation, put the music up to a metal, techno, or motivating song. Visualize yourself in a time and place in your life when you were pumped up, before a competition, speech, or huge event in your life in which you had a huge adrenaline rush and were pumped up. Run yourself through the adrenaline provoking anxiety before the event, the bliss of the event itself, and finally the euphoria once you had done good in the event. Actually put yourself in the situation, feeling the same way you did at that point in your life.

Come up the elevator of meditation, Count to ten, opening your eyes in a sharp and hard manner once you finish, telling yourself, "I am getting more awake and alert." Open your eyes, you should now feel a great sense of well being and self-improvement from this.

Why it works

Dopamine-Dopamine levels are quickly increased as the mantra is repeated, due in part to being "psyched up" mentally, and of remembering the euphoric, motivating state of mind you were once in.

Norepinephrine- The physical kick that comes with the adrenaline rush.

Visualization- The art of mentally visualizing and seeing, with your minds eye, whatever it is that you want, and/or so desire. Through this it becomes clear your goals and ambitions, and allows something for you to shoot towards.

Acetylcholine-The neurotransmitter that allows for the physical movement, actually carrying out the full extent of the visualized goal.

Burst of maintainable Adrenaline-The combination of AOTA.
Estimated time: 5 minutes tops:)

Final Thoughts:

Meditation is a great exercise, whether used in short conjunctions, or on a regular basis. Use it in the long run and in conjnction with everything for maximum effects. Enjoy!
